Domaine de Cascaret (aka Domaine des Pavots) near Carcassonne in the south of France is a luxury estate - 3 hectares in area and sits on a hilltop with commanding views of the Pyrenees foothills to the south and the huge valley bordered by the Montagne Noir (Black Mountains) to the north. The Canal du Midi runs through the valley.

Parts of the house date from the 18th Century - originally a farmhouse, it has been completely reworked. The villa holds a prestigious 4-star rating from Étoiles de France.

The house runs along an east-west axis - and can be split into two independent sections - the East Wing and the West Wing - with their own front doors and amenities.
